The Fabi, your Union
FABI: over 60 years of history!
The FABI was born as the first union bank in 1948, at the time when meetings were still held at night in cellars and when who turned up risked being sued. In those years, FABI was under the auspices of a bigger union, which coordinated the efforts of a multitude of small but valid and courageous unions. However, throughout these years, FABI has grown exponentially and has become a reference point for the majority of bank employees.
FABI: the most important union in the banking sector
One third of all the bank-employees are part of FABI, one third pertains to other unions, while the remaining third of bank-employees has never been registered to any union whatsoever. In the past years FABI's reputation has increased exponentially, becoming the fourth biggest union in Italy, which is extremely significant as FABI only deals with banking employees, which make up only a small percentage of the total number of workers.
FABI: and independent trade union
The FABI, the Autonomous Federation of Italian Bankers (Federazione Autonoma dei Bancari Italiani), is free of corruption and external influence. From the the Representatives of our Trade Union, up to the highest summits of the Organization, what counts is not the political, religious, sexual orienteering; rather, everything at FABI pivots exclusively around the protection of the employee, more specifically of their rights and interests.
FABI: favors the bank employee cohesive
In other trade unions, objectives must follow “political goals and addresses”. However, in Fabi policies are determined by the Representatives of Trade Union and subsequently must coincide with the National Secretarial Office's expectations, whose job is to coordinate and link the activities of all local trade unions. FABI is committed to help bank employees both humanly and financially, as well as dealing with social issues and the world of working more generally.
FABI: credible, adequately knowledgeable and resourceful
FABI deals with wise employees, who still believe in liberty and freedom, as well as friendship and respect. The days of the “harsh” trade union have ended. The representatives and collaborators of FABI are very committed, and have dedicated their life to ensure an enjoyable experience to various employees of the banking sector. They are both men and women, capable of affronting any problem with determination, and who vividly believe in the importance of communication and of the employee's involvement in the banking sector.
